Verifying your Ntradex account typically involves completing a process called Identity Verification or Know Your Customer (KYC).
Step-By-Step Guide to Strengthening Your KYC Status:
1. Log in to Your Ntradex Account
- Open the ntradeX mobile app, available on the Google Play Store for Android or the Apple App Store for iOS.
- Log in with set pin code or Face ID.
2. Go to the Verification Section
- On mobile, tap ‘Verify your account’ which is right above your balance, to begin your verification.
3. Complete Tasks for Cadre 1,2 and 3

Cadre 1
→Email Address: This task was automatically verified when you signed up for Ntradex.
→Phone Number: A 6-digit code will be sent to the number you registered your account with.
→Selfie: Here comprise of two other tasks to follow through which are document identification and selfie.
In Document Identification you are to select a type of document that was issued by your country;
→ID Card: This involves taking a photo of the front side of your work or school ID card with your name and face reflecting boldly.
→Passport: Take a photo of the front side of your international passport where your name, passport photograph, and other details are shown. It should be very visible.
→Residence Permit: Take a photo of the front side of your official document/ID card detailing your place of stay issued by your country’s government highlighting your face and other details.
→Driver License: Take a photo of the front side of your driving license identification card. It should be visibly clear.
NOTE* – A Cadre 1 verified user is recognized as being a fully verified ntradeX user

Cadre 2
→BVN: We need your Bank Verification Number (BVN) for identification processes to confirm your full name, phone number, and date of birth. Your BVN does not give us access to your account or transactions. The BVN is applicable to NGN users.
→Address Verification: We need proof of address documentation that contains your full name, and address and it must not be older than 3 months. It can come in the format of;
- Bank Statements
- Utility Bills
- Internet/Cable TV/House/Phone line bills
- Tax Returns
- Council Tax Bills
- Government-issued Certification of Residence
Hence, we don’t accept the following:
- Screenshots
- Mobile Phone Bills
- Medical Bills
- Receipts
- Insurance Statements

Cadre 3
→Source of Funds: This details you provide a contract of employment or paystubs (weekly or monthly wages that could come from an independent contract or freelance gig).
→NIN: We need your National Identity Number to verify your identity and ensure that your account is secure. This information is required by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to help banks identify you and prevent fraud. The NIN is applicable to NGN users.
Important Notice
Thus It is required to complete at least Cadre 1 to transact seamlessly on ntradeX. Cadres 2 and 3 completion only becomes necessary when you want higher daily/weekly/monthly limits on transactions.
